OLD FASHION BARBER SHOP SHAVING SOAP

Our Kneeling Nun Shaving Soap is specially formulated to lather using a shaving brush, which will create a dense, creamy, stable lather with excellent slip for wet shaving.

This Old Fashioned Barber Shop Shaving Soap has a nostalgic feel to it, like you’re in an old fashioned barber shop. This one is fresh and clean with a musky undertone.

This shaving soap contain no artificial colors or preservatives. Each bar is at least 3 oz. We pour our shaving soap by hand so every puck is different and you may not receive the exact shaving soap shown in the photo. This also means each shaving soap will vary slightly in weight.

To Use: Wet your brush under hot running water and let the brush absorb the water for at least a minute. We recommend a badger hair brush to get the best lather and either the shaving soap put in the shaving bowl or pinch off a small bit and spread the soap on a dish to make your soap last longer and to get a nice, dense lather. Tap off the excess water and begin to lather the soap using circular motions directly in the container of the shaving soap. You will see larger bubbles at first but as you keep building the lather, the bubbles will become smaller and the lather will become thick and creamy. Use the lather on the brush to apply and massage your face, in circular motions, until the lather is even on your skin. This not only increases the lather’s density, it will assist by shortening the hair and raise the hair so the razor can cut close to the skin.

To Store: Your soap will last longer if you rinse off the lather and drain the excess water from the container you put the soap in and set it in a dry and ventilated location.
