Prickly Pear Desert Sunset Candle

Hand-poured in small batches in Silver City, New Mexico, this candle brings our signature Prickly Pear scent into the room. It's made with a vegan coconut apricot wax blend, eco candle dye and a cotton wick, poured into a reusable heavy-base glass tumbler and finished with a cactus wax top.

Scent: A fresh, lush floral scent with sweet agave and blooming cactus notes — uplifting and desert-inspired.

Size: 5 oz (150 g) net wax weight; approximate burn time 35–40 hours

How to use: Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every lighting. On the first burn, let the melt pool reach the edges of the glass so the candle doesn't tunnel. Burn no longer than 4 hours at a time, and let it cool at least 2 hours before relighting. When it's finished, freeze the tumbler for about an hour, pop out the leftover wax, and wash with hot soapy water.

Store: Keep in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, with the wick clear of dust and debris.

Caution: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts and anything that can catch fire, and keep out of reach of children and pets. Don't touch or move the candle while it's lit or the wax is liquid. Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains. Extinguish with a snuffer, never water. Note: to prevent melting, candle orders ship Priority Mail on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
